Reading request stages
What the four stages of a request mean, and how to read a request’s progress.
This guide describes the demonstration on this site, which uses sample data.
Four stages, in order
Every request in the demo moves through the same four stages. A request’s page shows them under Progress and activity, and the Requests page lets you filter by them.
- Received
- The request has arrived, and the review hasn’t started yet.
- Under review
- Its details and documents are being checked. Some requests wait here for a document or a follow-up.
- Ready for confirmation
- Everything is prepared and waiting for you. Nothing moves forward until you confirm.
- Completed
- The request is finished, and there’s nothing left to do.
Read the progress tracker
Each stage a request has reached shows when it got there and what happened, followed by anything else that happened while the request was at that stage.
A check marks a stage that’s done, a ring marks the current stage, and a dashed circle marks a stage that hasn’t started, labeled Not started.
Stage and status
A request’s stage says where it is in the process. Its status says what’s happening now, in more detail: at Under review, one request shows Verification in progress while another shows Checking details.
On Overview, Requests by stage counts the requests at each stage and links to every one of them.
What changes in the demo
Stages in the demo don’t change on their own, and no simulated step moves a request to the next one.
Confirming the payment for REQ-2051 keeps it at Ready for confirmation and changes its status to Simulation · Not sent. Marking REQ-2048 as reviewed keeps it at Under review with the status Reviewed · Demo only.
